Flying discs and more

Regardless of age, most people want to do some active outdoor activity during the summer. Throwing a flying disc can be one such activity. Flying discs appeared in ancient Greece. The Greeks threw discs made of bronze and iron. Nowadays, discs and rings are made of much lighter yet durable materials.

In order to be able to choose a flying disc, you should think about what purpose you need it for. There are several different options, but they usually fall into the following categories: regular plastic rings, a far flying foam rings, sturdy and heavy Frisbee discs, and rubber discs that are great for playing with pets.

Disc throwing is a well known game to everyone. However, we recommend enlivening your free time with other options too. An outstanding outdoor game is Viking Kubb. The game consists of wooden figures, which, according to certain rules, are placed on the playing field. Beach paddle ball rackets are used for another interesting game. It is called “Freskobol”. There are two teams of two people, which hit a ball between themselves and try to win.
